Book Review: "Candy Floss"

The Book I read, "Candy Floss" by Jacqueline Wilson, was a really amazing story! It was about a girl called Floss and her dad works in a fish and chip shop. Her mum and her boyfriends wants to go to Australia and want to take Floss but Floss refuses and wants to stay with her dad. I couldn't remember what happened at the end! But it was a really good story! Ages ago, I couldn't remember, I had a dream about this and in my dream I saw Floss! And apparently I'm moving to Australia with Floss, her mum and her mum's boyfriend!
I would recommend this really good book to ages 9-14 and I would give it a 8/10 and also this book is 8th in my "List of Favourite bookz!".

Book review: "Best Friends"

"Best Friends" by Jacqueline Wilson, is a book I read and it is about two friends, called Gemma and Alice, who have been friends ever since they were born. But then Gemma notices that Alice has been hiding something. When she finds out she is gobsmacked.
This story is truly heart-warming story about friendship. I love this book so much it is 4th in my "List of favourite bookz!". My least favourite part was when Alice moves to Scotland and goes far away from Gemma. Alice makes a new friend that is horrible to Gemma.
I would recommend this book to people aged 10-15 and I would give it a 9/10. Truly an amazing story!
Please read and recommend this book, it is really good!

Enjoy and happy reading!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The third Wheel!

This book is going to be released out on November13th, and also there are already printing more than 6.5 million copies of this book! This is just sneak peek of Kinney's new book!

This is a quote from the author of this book:
"Writing The Third Wheel has been a lot of fun because there’s so much humor to be mined in the world of middle school romance, When the dust settles at the end of the seventh book, the Wimpy universe will be changed in a way that will surprise fans of the series."
          - Jeff Kinney, Author of: Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

Newz: Michael Morpurgo's new enchanting Story!

Michael Morpurgo has created a new enchanting story which is out now in Paperback! This new magical story is called:

Mr Skip!

By the way, this book is recommended for ages 7 years and up!

I haven't really read this book so I have not got a book review to go with this but here is the blurb for the book:

Believing in magic makes dreams come true…
Jackie dreams of having a horse of her own, one that’ll be the fastest on the estate, the fastest in all Ireland and the fastest in the world. Mum dreams of a little cottage in the country for her and Jackie to live in. What they get is a garden gnome that Jackie finds in a rubbish skip; one she lovingly repairs and paints; a gnome she calls Mr Skip. And Jackie soon discovers that with Mr Skip, anything is possible.

Another thing about this book is that it is an award-nominated read! Michael Morpurgo is famous because he is a master story-teller. He has written a book that is now a major motion picture in cinemas and is now in Blu-ray and DVD out NOW!! Apparently, people think that the book I was talking about "War Horse" was boring. I don't think it is boring. I've seen the movie and it doesn't really look like its boring. It was a great movie and I say well done to Steven Spielberg who directed this wonderful, heart-warming motion picture! And also, I say well done to the actors and actresses and especially well done to that horse which is the main source of this wonderful movie! Well done to everyone who worked really hard to make this movie.
Other Newz in this blog, Michael Morpurgo has another new book he has created. It is a biography and an autobiography. It is about him and his life. I've never read the book yet but I think it tells the story about he began writing.
This book about him is supposed to be recommended to older teenagers to adults, so it is not really great for younger readers!
Other Newz, his award-winning book "Private Peaceful" is selling tickets to see the actual play at Theatre Royal Haymarket! There is a limit of 16 performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket at 18-29 September 2012, so get those tickets now if you are desperate to see the performances!
Well, thanks for listening to this latest Newz and Happy Reading!

Book Review: "Between Shades of Gray"

The Book I read, "Between Shades of Gray" By Ruta Sepetys, is a truly amazing story about a girl who gets taken away by NKVD soldiers and imported by to Siberia and become slaves. I would say that my least favourite part of this heart-warming story is the part when they got taken away by the soldiers and her father goes missing and they couldn't find him. This book was part of the Carnegie and I really, really wished that that book won the Carnegie medal! It was a fantastic story! I would recommend this book to ages 12-16 years old because then older people would understand more, and I would give this book a 9/10. It is an amazing story. The other bookz that was part of the Carnegie Shadowing was "My Name is Mina" (By David Almond), "Small Change for Stuart" (By Lissa Evans), "My Sister lives on the Mantelpiece" (By Annabel Pitcher), "A Monster Calls" (By Patrick Ness and also this book has won the Carnegie Shadowing book) and there are loads more, which really I can't remember! But anyways, you should really read these bookz! Either borrow them from a Library, or purchase it from the Kindle Store! All these bookz are all simply amazing and are really good! You should really read these! And recommend them!

Happy Reading!

Book Review: "The Hunger Games"

The most popular book, "The Hunger Games" By Suzanne Collins (now a popular major motion picture), is the greatest book I read! The movie was amazing too and is one of the popular motion picture! My most favourite part of book was the part when they were all in action in the forest and have to survive. There is nothing that needs improving in this book because it is absolutely amazing! In the Oscars 2012, I think the "Hunger Games" movie should have won because it is one of my favourite movie (and the book and is third favourite in my "List of Favourite bookz"!) instead of Twilight. I mean I know everyone likes Twilight because of Taylor Lautner and his abs, but I think the "Hunger Games" should have won because of good acting and directing. Everyone loves it. But apparently, everyone likes "Twilight" more. Oh well, maybe next year there might be a second "Hunger Games" and maybe that movie might win the Oscars!
Which movie do you like, "Hunger Games" or "Twilight"? Answer by commenting this post!
Happy reading!

Book Review: "Small change for Stuart"

The Book I read, "Small change for Stuart" by Lissa Evans, is quite a clever book full with clever riddles and tricks! My favourite part was all of it because I thought this was simply amazing! This book is my ninth favourite book in my "List of Favourite Bookz!".
I'd recommend this book to people ages 13-15 years old because then they'd understand the book more than younger readers. And I'd give it 8/10!
Enjoy and happy reading!

Book Review: "My sister lives on the Mantelpiece"

The book I read, "My sister lives on the Mantelpiece" by Annabel Pitcher, was so upsetting and heart-warming. This beautiful story is about a young boy's life and how one member died tore his family apart. The bit I don't like was when the sister got blown into bits in London, Trafalgar Square. I thought the most upsetting part of the story was when Jamie's (Main character) cat got ran over by a car!
I would recommend this book to 12-15 years old and I would give it a 8/10 but it is still truly an amazing story!
Enjoy!

Book Review: "The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips"

The book I read, "The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips" was my most favourite book of all time and is top of my "List of Favourite bookz"! My least favourite part was when the cat goes missing and enters the danger zone of the World War 2 practice because it was so upsetting! This story is so heart-warming, it is about a girl who kept a diary and wrote about her life, world war 2 and her adorable cat Tips. I loved the book so much that I got attached to it and I read it in one night! I'd recommend this book to 11-14 years old and I'd give it 10/10!
Hope you'll read this wonderful book!!!

Book Review: "Little Darlings"

The book I read, "Little Darlings" by Jacqueline Wilson, was truly heart-warming. It is a story about two girls, one rich and one poor, who find out they are actually half-sisters. My favourite part was when they discover they are half sisters because I thought it was heart-warming and amazing! This is one of Jacky's truly amazing stories and is my second favourite book in my "List of Favourite Bookz!".
I'd recommend this book to people aged 11-15 and I'd give it 10/10!
